Itinerary

The journey, step by step

  1. 01

    Day 1 — Tbilisi arrival

    Airport transfer, check-in, an Old Town walk through Metekhi, Abanotubani, Narikala viewpoints, the Bridge of Peace, and Rike Park, followed by a Georgian dinner. Overnight in Tbilisi.

  2. 02

    Day 2 — Borjomi springs and local hospitality

    Travel to Borjomi for a family-style lunch, Central Park, mineral-water tasting, dinner, and a sulphur pool session. Overnight in Borjomi.

  3. 03

    Day 3 — Kakhisi Lake and Akhaltsikhe

    Travel by 4x4 to the mountain access point, then take a short hike and outdoor movement session at Kakhisi Lake with a prepared picnic. Continue to Akhaltsikhe, visit Rabati Castle, and enjoy dinner and wellness at Jino. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.

  4. 04

    Day 4 — Safara and Meskhetian traditions

    Visit Safara Monastery, then join a local family for traditional bread baking, Tenili cheese, a Meskhetian dinner, and an evening with folk singers. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.

  5. 05

    Day 5 — Vardzia, Aspindza, and Abastumani

    Explore Vardzia with a short hike, then meet local fishermen near Aspindza for hands-on fishing and a local lunch. River swimming is optional and conditional on safety. Continue to Abastumani for hotel check-in, dinner, and a guided observatory visit. Overnight in Abastumani.

  6. 06

    Day 6 — Paravani and Dashbashi

    Travel to Paravani Lake for birdwatching and a prepared riverside picnic. Explore Dashbashi Canyon, with optional bike zipline, before returning to Tbilisi for the night.

  7. 07

    Day 7 — Departure

    Breakfast and a free morning in Tbilisi. Coffee, shopping, or a Georgian lunch can be arranged before the private airport transfer.

  • Local-host, craft, farm, food, and market experiences are confirmed with selected partners in advance. Seasonal activities may be adjusted according to availability while preserving the character of the journey.
  • Fishing, swimming, hiking, and birdwatching depend on season, weather, water levels, access, local rules, and safety requirements. Kakhisi 4x4 arrangements are confirmed in advance according to road and weather conditions.
